I am so excited to meet and get to know all of the people in my class. My goal is to make the content of my class as meaningful as possible to each individual, and facilitate student success and a long-term love for learning.
I graduated from Granbury High School in 2010. From there, I went to Dallas Baptist University as a Music Business major. After a year, I found that that was not my true calling. I transferred to Tarleton and graduated in December 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and got my teaching certification from Weatherford College.
I spent my first year of teaching at Cleburne High School, where I was the varsity Assistant Swim Coach, ESL Department Lead, ESL teacher, Journalism Teacher, and Yearbook Teacher. I'm very excited to get started in my second year!
I grew up in Granbury, Texas and still live there to this day! I attended Dallas baptist University as a Music Business major for a year, until I realized that my calling was in education. I transferred to Tarleton, where I graduated in December of 2015. I was the first person in my immediate family to graduate from college.
I currently live in Granbury and am a fur-mom to two of the cutest dogs you'll ever meet, Dino and Tiny. Tiny was the sick runt of her litter, and I immediately knew she was mine. She's been with me for a year as of September 2017. Dino was 3 or 4 years old when I found him and adopted him from a shelter in Dallas. They're both spoiled rotten.
