I can not express how excited I am to get the 2017-2018 school year underway. I've been an Alvarado Indian for most of my life and am a member of the AHS Class of 2011. Additionally, many members of my family work for the district. My father is the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, my mother is a science teacher at the high school, and my wife is the girls PE teacher at Alvarado Intermediate School and an assistant softball coach at AHS, as well as a member of the AHS class of 2011. As a student I played fullback for the football team and received all-district recognition my senior year, as well as received the opportunity to play in a state semifinal game, which at the time was the best football season in school history. In high school I also participated in Power-lifting, debate, extemporaneous speaking, band, and was a four year letterman and captain of the golf team. I believe that Alvarado is a special place and I am incredibly excited to be back in my hometown contributing to the tradition of excellence in Alvarado.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX. in May of 2015 with a major in History and minors in Political Science and English Literature.
