Alvarado High School is a 9-12 public school located in Alvarado ISD and is home to over 1,100 scholars and 100 educators. Families are drawn to Alvarado High School because of its high expectations academically, successful athletics programs, award-winning fine arts and safe learning environment.

It was not the biggest group of Alvarado High School scholars to attend the International Thespian Festival. Still, the 11 who made the trip this summer were the most successful from Theatre Troup 4243.
Alvarado football has been hard at work this summer, perfecting its craft against elite competition. The Indians were one of only 14 programs across the state that qualified for both the State 7-on-7 Tournament and State Lineman Challenge in late June.
Alvarado football competed in the State Lineman Challenge at Hardin-Simmons University for the second straight year in late June.
The Indians were attempting to defend the state title it won last year.
Over the past few years we have had the ability to provide school supplies for our scholars. Unfortunately, we will not be providing supplies this year.

How amazing are our scholars at Alvarado Elementary South? They collected over 1,110 pairs of socks for the Johnson County Family Crisis Center!
Congratulations to Alvarado High School senior Andria Harris who signed to play soccer collegiately at Howard Payne University!
