Alvarado High School is a 9-12 public school located in Alvarado ISD and is home to over 1,100 scholars and 100 educators. Families are drawn to Alvarado High School because of its high expectations academically, successful athletics programs, award-winning fine arts and safe learning environment.

Alvarado Junior High's spirit squad placed fourth at the North Texas Colorguard Association's Cadet Championships on Saturday, March 11 at Flower Mound High School.
The team moved up in classification and improved its score from 56.73 to 64.63 in its final performance.
Community and school leaders were at Elementary North on Friday, March 3 as part of the school district’s Indian Friends Reading program.
The Lady Indians claimed their second straight Bi-District title with a 58-21 win over Eastern Hills on Tuesday. Candra Bridgewater led the team with 13 points while Joslyn Jarmon added 11 points and Reagan Elmore scored 10.
