Though I would rather meet you in person, I am happy to introduce myself to you on this webpage. I am the assistant choir director at Alvarado High School, assistant Alvarado Junior High Director, and the choir director of the Alvarado Intermediate 6th grade choir, The Indian Brave Choir.

Bachelor's Degree from University of Texas at Arlington
Master's Degree from Grand Canyon University

This is my 20th year to teach!!! Time flies! I taught at Venus High School for the first 10 years, and this is my 10th year in the Alvarado District. I have a vocal performance degree, an alternative certification to teach, and a master's in Reading Education. I am certified to teach All-level Special Education classes, 8 - 12 Reading and English classes, and All-level music classes.
I enjoy music in my life all day long and am very happy to be teaching choirs in Alvarado!

I have an amazing family! My husband and I have been married for 32 years! We have 3 children, a granddaughter, 2 grandsons, and a grandbaby on the way!! I, of course, enjoy music, and I love spending time with my horses. Life is short, so relationships are important to me. God is at the center of my life.
