Financial Aid Information

(This information is shared with parents as a courtesy and not as an endorsement of the organization).

Hi there,

My name is Allie Thompson and I work with The Student Loan Report. The Student Loan Report helps keep students and their families up-to-date on the latest student loan and financial aid news and information so they can make the best decisions when it comes to paying for college and repaying debt.

We provide unbiased coverage on the latest student loan news that may affect students. We also create resources and guides for borrowers and their families so they make the best decisions when it comes to paying for college and repaying student debt.

A huge part of smart student borrowing and repayment is simply staying on top of what changes are being made day-to-day and understanding how those changes affect borrowers. I think our site does a great job at this and is really beneficial for students and parents.

Would you be willing to share our website with your students and families? I think it would be a huge benefit and could really help them out in dealing with the financial aid process, including student loans and more.

Thanks for your time and I hope the rest of your week goes well!

Best,
Allie

Hi Financial Aid Friend,

My name is Allie. I work on the newly created financial literacy team at the Student Loan Report, the leading news source for financial aid and student loan industry news.

In 2017, we started an initiative to create engaging financial literacy guides, tools, and videos for incoming college students. We recently created this guide (w/ videos!) called Private Student Loans Guide - Eligibility, Costs, Repayment, & Warnings.

The guide was created to educate families on the risks and costs of using private educational loans. If you be willing to post a link to our guide on your website for students and families that would be incredible.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best,
Allie

LendEdu has created several new financial aid calculators for students and parents.  Student and parents can use these calculators to calculate the cost of student and calculate the potential long term savings of reducing the amount of student debt used to pay for college.

Financial Aid Information

Hello High School Counselors and Teachers,

If you are looking for resources on financial aid, scholarships, and FAFSA, there is a large content of resources available on youtube. Many of these are directly from the Department of Education. The Youtube channel Federal Student Aid offers many (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEnu3BHoR9IYgBnCkqQdgmA), as does the FAFSA website (including an online chat).

Have a great weekend,

Eric Mason
